Local Home Hospice Care for Our Community

When someone you love is nearing the end of life, what matters most is being cared for with dignity, compassion, and a steady presence you can trust. At Lakeside Hospice, we walk alongside families here in Canyon Lake and the surrounding Hill Country—bringing comfort, guidance, and peace in a time that can feel overwhelming. We care for the whole person—body, mind, and soul—while supporting families through every step, from the first conversation through the days of grief that follow.

As a physician-owned, locally rooted hospice, we believe in neighbors caring for neighbors. Our team is part of this community, and we’re committed to being present when you need us most—with timely responses, strong clinical care, and a level of attention that goes beyond managing symptoms. This is personal for us, and it shows in the way we serve.

Levels of Hospice Care

Routine Care

Most hospice patients receive routine care at home with regular nurse visits and family support.

Continuous Care

If symptoms require close monitoring, nurses may provide extended care to control symptoms.

General Inpatient Care (GIP)

When symptoms cannot be managed at home, patients may be admitted to a facility for 24-hour monitoring and care.

Respite Care

Respite Care is short-term inpatient care provided to the patient when necessary for the purpose of providing a break in care giving to the patient’s caregiver(s).
